I work pretty extensively with Microsoft during my day job, and I thought this entry would be fitting. Microsoft just release Microsoft Vista a couple of weeks ago and I must say that the Desktop wallpapers are beautiful. The colors pop out beautifully on the photos and the lighting is absolutely amazing.
Ever wonder how they choose what photos will be included as wallpapers? It turns out that all of the wallpapers for Vista were taken by one man. He shoots purely digital too, using a Canon Canon EOS 20D 8.2MP.
His name is Hamad Darwish - and it turns out that he is somewhat of an Internet success story. Microsoft noticed his images on Flickr and approached him directly. Now his photos will be seen by literally billions of people over the next few years... amazing!
