Credit Card Fraud!

I just got a call from the credit card company saying that someone has tried to make very large charges on one of my cards to several online betting sites and also some religious organization. The charges got denied, but it was a close call.

I just saw a news segment about credit card fraud this morning too... be careful.

hey this just happened to me this morning! the reason they caught it i think is because the charges were in a foreign country so they denied the charges. someone tried to charge a couple grand last night twice and then tried to use it again at a supermarket (overseas) again this AM. totally sucks but at least they got denied! i guess they actually swiped the card too (which i still had on me) so they created a fake card. ugggg....did you put a fraud alert on your credit with the credit bureaus? I did that and i think it helps.
